About Us

Human Resources is a fast growing career field where practitioners get the pleasure to help both employees and companies grow and succeed.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the Occupational Outlook Handbook, the growth rate of HR related jobs will be faster than average when comparing to all jobs.  Specific job growth is expected to be 17% through 2016.  Jobs in the field of human resources are varied; whether it be a generalist responsible for multiple areas of human resources or a specialist, the future is exciting.

EntryHR.com was established in 2008 to meet the growing demand for entry-level professionals in the field of human resources. After spending over ten years in the field, the comments I often heard from graduates, entry-level and early career candidates are “how tough it is to get your foot in the door”, access to practical advice is limited and the lack of willing mentors. EntryHR.com ’s vision is to provide relevant and current resources and information to fill this gap.

EntryHR.com offers a wide range of practical and relevant information within the HR field, including a job board and an events page. Visit often, participate by leaving a comment and tell others about us.
